Why sponsor Garforth Villa Football Club?

The club is a vibrant part of the community with over 450 youth players aged from 5 – 17 training and playing regularly for our club. We have also have Mens and Womens teams. We have strong engagement with players' parents and families, so we effectively reach out to a community of several hundred across Garforth and the surrounding area.

 

Garforth Villa Football Club are a grassroots club that have made incredible strides forward in recent years increasing the size of the playing membership, improving pitches and working hand in hand with Leeds City Council, the FA and West Riding County FA to provide a safe, effective and engaged environment for the youth of the community to engage in the sport of football at a variety of levels. The club is run by a team of volunteer coaches and committee members who all hold appropriate professional, sporting and safeguarding qualifications but give up their time on an entirely voluntary basis. The club minimises the membership fees charged per player by raising funds through partnerships with sponsors and by holding a number of fundraising events through the year.

 

Sponsoring Garforth Villa Football Club is a fantastic way of contributing and supporting sport for kids in our community and makes a visible difference as every penny of sponsor money is reinvested to help buy football kits and equipment and secure playing facilities for the club. There are no hidden administration charges or costs, we are truly a grassroots club so we can assure a sponsor that their contribution is going directly to youth football. The Garforth Villa community of players and their families is extremely loyal and is always appreciative of the club and its sponsors and supporters. We endeavour to encourage our community to support local businesses wherever possible and in particular when they are our sponsors. How do we Publicise our Sponsors?

During the course of the year, Garforth Villa Football Club will actively promote the club and our sponsors on our website, social media and to appropriate media outlets which share share sporting updates, community interest and any other engaging stories. We also produce a quarterly newsletter which details the names and logo of each sponsor.

We are also very happy to engage in a PR event with a respective sponsor to publicise their engagement with Garforth Villa Football Club. This includes appropriate participation of players, coaches or committee members as needed to help sponsors and club receive positive publicity.

Sponsorship Packages:

The following packages are some of our standard offerings, but there is always scope for adjustment or discussion to meet a particular need:

 

Club Sponsor: £2,400 (2 year sponsorship)

A Club sponsor has their name on the sleeve of every playing kit in the Club as well as Club hoodie. The sponsorship lasts for 2 years. The Club Sponsor will be provided with a framed team photo suitable for display and a personalized letter of thanks from the Club's committee.  The Club Sponsors will also be invited to take part in our end of season presentation and Gala, which over 2,000 children and parents attend, for further photo and publicity opportunities.

Team Kit sponsor: £450 (2 year sponsorship)

A Team Kit sponsor sponsors a team's playing kit. The Team sponsor will have their logo displayed on the front of the respective team's playing shirt. Sponsors will be provided with a framed team photo suitable for display and a personalised letter of thanks from the team members. Sponsors will also be invited to take part in our end of season presentation for further photo and publicity opportunities.

Gala sponsor: £500

Our annual gala is held in second half of June over two days and is a festival of 5v5, 6v6 and 7v7 a side football for age groups from under 6 to under 14. During this weekend the park is a hive of activity with 1300+ players participating from over 130 teams from Yorkshire and over 2,000 supporters visiting the park. In addition to being sold at the gala, the programme is also sold door to door all over Garforth in the month before the gala.

 

The Gala sponsor will have the chance to display their logo prominently on signage at the gates and at multiple points around the park. The Gala sponsor will also be featured on the front cover of our tournament programme and will be given a full page story and advertisement within the programme. 

 

The Gala sponsor will play a key role in the Gala prize giving with numerous chances for further photo and publicity opportunities. The funds raised from the gala all go to the ongoing running of the club and a percentage goes to the U11 teams to provide funds for their tour the following year.
